How to play
Look closely. You start low over a city or a country, with no labels.
Type your guess and pick it from the list. You have five tries.
Miss, and the camera climbs. Each wrong guess zooms the image out a little and tells you how far off you were and in which direction.
Get it right and the view zooms all the way out to show where you were.
Difficulty
Every city has two rankings. In a single country, difficulty is how a local would see it, from Super Easy (cities anyone knows) to Hard (places locals have heard of but couldn’t picture). Worldwide and by continent, difficulty is how well known a city is around the world, from Easy to Super Hard. All (the default) mixes every difficulty, Capitals plays only capital cities. The Unzoomed modes show the whole city in a single photo, with no zooming out between guesses.
Subway lines
You see a city from above and one coloured box for each of its metro lines. Click a box and draw that line on the photo; use several strokes for branches, and Undo or Clear line to fix mistakes. Zoom with the mouse wheel, the + and − buttons or by pinching; move the photo with the hand tool, by holding Space or the right mouse button while dragging, or with two fingers. Show one line draws a random line for you as a hint; it isn’t scored. Skip city shows the real map without a score, then Next moves on. When you’re done, Score my map shows the real lines and gives each line, and the whole map, a score from 1 to 100. Lines you don’t draw score 1. A city counts as done once you score 50 or more.
The arrow points from your guess toward the answer.
