Guess the capital city from above
Every country's capital in an aerial image. Name it in five tries; each miss zooms the satellite camera out.
201 capitals from every continent
Africa 57, Asia 48, Europe 46, North America 23, Oceania 14 and South America 13. Countries with more than one capital, such as South Africa (Pretoria, Cape Town and Bloemfontein) or Bolivia (La Paz and Sucre), include all of them.
Some you'll know at first glance, like Paris, Tokyo or Cairo. Others are a real test: Bern, Lisbon, Luxembourg, Reykjavík, Oslo, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Bratislava, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Skopje, Tirana.
A good way to learn capitals
Lists of capitals are easy to forget. A capital's shape from above (the river through the centre, the coastline, the parks and boulevards) is much easier to remember, and you see where each city sits in its country as the camera zooms out.
